About the event

This is a great trip for beginners and family fun for all ages; no one will go home empty handed it's impossible at this place! Meet up with Trip leaders at 9 am to go over dig safety and dig rules. Dig cost is $15/per person

** This is a great event for children. Children MUST be accompanied at all times. There are many dangerous areas in this location, including steep hills, foot bridges, and water. With proper instruction, this is a safe place to learn the ropes.

Tourmaline, Beryl, Mica, Garnet, Rose Quartz, Quartz, are just a few of the things members collected last year.

The cost of this trip is $35 and half of that cost is paid by the club. Please bring $15 dollars with you to cover the rest. If you are unable to attend due to funds, please let us know with a return email as we have members who have pledged to help out someone in financial hardship.

** The road down into the parking area was extremely muddy last year. If your vehicle will not make it down to the bottom, you may park off to the side at the top and someone can help you with getting back and forth. We shall see what this year brings. **
