Here you can check out all of the cool trips we offer, some of these locations are open year round. Upcoming trips are posted on the home page. All dates tentative for weather.

Plant Fossil Site- Attleboro, MA

Open year round! This is where you can acquire various plant fossils imbedded in a pit of slate rock. A very beginner friendly place.

Diamond Acres - Fonda, NY (Club Claim)

Open year round! We have a claim located here, where you can acquire the very popular and sought after, Herkimer Diamond (quartz).

Tripp and Clark Mine - Alstead, NH

Here you can find various minerals in the pegmatite material. This includes, beryl var. Aquamarine, Mica, Garnets, Fluorapatite and various others!

Hewitt Gem Mine - Haddam, CT

Very similar to Tripp and Clark, here you will find various beryl, smaller than the specimens from Tripp and Clark, but more gemmy. Here you can also find smoky quartz points.

PJ Keating Quarry - Lunenburg, MA

This is an active asphalt quarry and we are lucky enough to be able to visit it! Here you can find, calcite, kyanite, quartz, pyrite, dolomite and even sphalerite!

Betts Manganese Mine - Plainfield, MA

Here you can find mainly rhodonite, almandine-spessartine garnets, rutile, pyrite, and various other minerals.
